Scouting in Gloucestershire enjoys a very wide and varied programme.  Each week Beaver Scout Colonies, Cub Scout Packs, Scout Troops, Explorer Scout Units and members of Scout Network take part in literally hundreds of different activities.

In the news section of this site we only have space to bring your a small sample of what has been going on around the the county, a monthly message from County Commissioner, Tom Harding, and various other topical items of news of interest to Scouts and Scouters across the county.  Use the County news sub-menu to the left to navigate this section of the site.

If you have any news stories from your Scout Group or District that you think are inspiring, a bit unusual or noteworthy then please let us know (preferably with a good picture as well) and you might find yourself featured in the 'around the county' section of the site!
