Beaver Scouts are the first and youngest Section in the Scouting family.  Young people can join Beaver Scouts after their sixth birthday.

Easily recognised by their distinctive turquoise sweatshirts, Beaver Scouts enjoy many different activities including going on visits, games, crafts, making friends and helping others.

They usually meet once a week. Some Beaver Scout Colonies also organise occasional Sleepovers (indoor camping).

Each district in the county also organises a number of activities each year where Beaver Scouts from across the district can come together for a fun day, outing, or maybe a Christmas party.  Beaver Scouting is all about having fun with your friends.
